Islamabad: News of an explosion during Friday prayers has come out in Pakistan. It is being claimed that the blast took place during Jumma Namaz in which many people were reported injured. It is being told that a big explosion occurred in a mosque located in a posh area of Islamabad when people were reading namaz. Media reports claimed the blast targeted a Shiite mosque and police suspected a suicide attack. Following the attack, an emergency alert has been issued for the entire city.
There is a big explosion in the capital of Pakistan. It is being told that a suicide bomber has exploded in a Shia mosque in Islamabad. Police are currently investigating the matter and a state of emergency has been declared across the city. Fifteen people are reported to have been killed in the attack and it is being claimed that around 80 people have been seriously injured. Photos and videos of the attack have emerged, showing a section of the mosque badly damaged, with body parts strewn about.
It is worth noting that Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) fighters have already wreaked havoc in Pakistan. Munir’s troops are being driven out of Balochistan, and around 10 districts have been captured so far. Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has publicly conceded defeat, declaring his army crippled. According to the BLA, 310 Pakistani soldiers have been killed in the attack within five days. However, the Pakistan Army claims that 216 Baloch fighters have also been killed.
