Only a little time left for the 10th and 12th board exams. The pre-board exams are being held in December, followed by the practical exams, and then the board exams in February. Due to this, students are busy day and night in preparation. Schools have started revision sessions, and students are completing their coursework by making strategies. It is not enough to prepare hard to score well in board exams; Smart planning, time management and proper revision are also very important. If you want to score well in board exams, it is very important to pay attention to some important things right from the beginning.
Every year, CBSE releases syllabus and sample papers on its official website. Make sure to check them, as they will help you understand the exam pattern, types of questions and their marks. Also, solving previous years papers improves writing speed, time management and confidence.
In subjects like science, physics, mathematics and geography, formulas, diagrams and maps directly affect your marks. Even a small mistake can lower your score. So, make a separate formula sheet and revise it for 10 minutes every day. Practice diagrams and maps regularly.
Studying under stress is never effective, so keep your mind calm and don’t put too much pressure on yourself. Take a short break of 10 minutes after every 45-50 minutes of study. It keeps your mind fresh and focused. Along with studies, a good diet, adequate sleep and light exercise are essential.
To make preparation easier, make your own notes. Try to keep your notes in small bullet points so that they can be easily revised at the last moment. Devote 1-2 hours every day just for revision and read difficult chapters in small chunks, which makes them easier to remember.
