Kulbhushan Pandit was the real name of the famous actor Rajkumar of Hindi cinema. He came into the film world only after leaving the job of police sub -inspector. He became an actor at the behest of a soldier and director Baldev Dubey. Rajkumar was so proud of Meena Kumari that he used to forget acting.

Rajkumar used to discuss his dialogue more than films in his career. ‘Look at your feet, you are very beautiful in Pakija, do not take them on the ground, will be dirty’ or ‘Chinoy Seth’ of the film ‘Tau’, whose houses are made of glass, do not throw stones at others’ dialogue. They dominate.

Eminent actor Raj Kumar ruled the hearts of the audience with his strong voice and acting. Raj Kumar was the hero of films who worked to give a new style to the dialogue in Hindi cinema. Raj Kumar was born on 8 October 1926 in a Kashmiri Pandit family in Lorlai, Balochistan (now Pakistan). His real name was Kulbhushan Pandit. He started working as a sub-inspector at Mahim police station in Mumbai in the 1940s after completing his studies. However, his Kadakathi and the influential style of conversation forced him to come to films.

After the advice of a soldier and the filmmaker Baldev Dubey, he quit his job and stepped into the film industry. He was working as a sub -inspector. But he left the job and started his acting career with the film ‘Rangeeli’ in the year 1952.

From 1952 to 1957, he played small roles in many films like ‘Anmol Sahara’, ‘Opportunity’, ‘Ghamand’, ‘Neelamani’ and ‘Krishna Sudama’ in his career, but success did not support him. His luck shone with Mehboob Khan’s film ‘Mother India’.

In the film, Rajkumar was cast by Meena Kumari’s opposite in Pakistan. Seeing the chemistry of both of them, the audience was very much liked. During this film, Raj Kumar Meena became crazy about the beauty of Kumari. He used to forget his dialogue many times on seeing them.

Please tell that Raj Kumar had a throat cancer in the year 1990s, about which he did not publicly disclose. He died on 3 July 1996 at the age of 69.
