Kolkata Metro is recruiting for 128 posts. ITI certificate holders can apply online. Kolkata Metro Rail Authority is recruiting for the post of Act Apprentice. The online application process will start on December 23, 2025, and will continue till January 22, 2026. Online applications can be submitted through the official website of Metro Railway Kolkata: mtp.indianrailways.gov.in. Appointment to the post of Act Apprentice in Kolkata Metro will result in a monthly stipend of ₹1,800.
Applicants must have passed at least 10th standard, under 10+2 examination system, with minimum 50% aggregate marks. They should have passed 10th class examination from a recognized board. They should have ITI certificate in the trade in which they will undergo apprenticeship training provided by NCVT or SCVT. Applicants should be between 15 to 24 years of age. Minimum age is 15 years and maximum age is 24 years. Age relaxation will be given for reserved categories.
How much is the application fee for applicants in which categories?
- ₹100 for General and OBC candidates.
- ₹100 for SC, ST and Women candidates.
- Application fee can be paid online only. Payments must be made via debit card, credit card, or internet banking.
For selecting eligible candidates, applicant’s 10th class and ITI exam marks will be given equal weightage. Based on these factors, eligible candidates will be selected.

Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of CBSE. This recruitment will fill 124 vacancies. The application process has already started, and will continue till December 22.
