Punjab News: Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann (Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann) on Tuesday announced the establishment of Surjit Patar Ethical AI Center in the name of eminent poet Padma Shri Late Surjit Patar in Guru Nanak Dev University here. has announced He arrived today at Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) to participate in a function held in memory of Surjit Patar.
This event has been organized by Guru Nanak Dev University with the support of Punjab Kala Parishad and Department of Language, Patiala. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister also shared the story of his closeness with late Surjit Patar and a poem he recited to him.

An Ethical AI Center equipped with state-of-the-art facilities will soon be built in the name of Surjit Patar Ji at Guru Nanak Dev University of Guru Nagar Sri Amritsar Sahib. It is our duty to honor the writers and lyricists who have contributed to the Punjabi mother tongue.

The late poet’s wife Bhupinder Kaur Patar, his brother and son were also present in the event, who were also honored by the university administration. A book written about Surjit Patar was also released on this occasion.
Paying tribute to the late poet, he said that a center for Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be established here in his name, in which modern technology will be used and every effort will be made by the government in this regard. Possible help will be provided.
A large number of poets, writers, intellectuals and literature lovers are participating in this event being held at the Golden Jubilee Convention Center of Guru Nanak Dev University.
