The meeting of the United Kisan Morche was held in the local Teja Singh Independent Bhavan Sangrur under the chairmanship of the district president of BKU Rajewal Gurmeet Singh Kapial, in which against the draft of the agricultural marketing policy issued by the central government on the invitation of the National Coordination Committee of the United Kisan Morche, Discussions were held regarding the preparation of the tractor parade being held across the country on January 26 to make the MSP guarantee law and the remaining demands of the Delhi movement. During this meeting, it was decided to hold a tractor parade at the tehsil level in Sangrur district. Bhupinder Singh Longowal, State Convener of Kirti Kisan Union’s Youth Wing, Advocate Kiranjit Singh Sekhon, State Leader of Kul Hind Kisan Federation and Udham Singh Santokhpura, State Leader of Jamhuri Kisan Sabha, said that farmers will parade on January 26 at the central tehsils.
Lehragaga (Patter Prerak): A meeting regarding the preparation of the tractor march was held in Lehragaga on January 26 under the chairmanship of Harvinder Singh Ladal on the joint invitation of the Sanyukta Kisan Morcha and other organizations at the Bhagat Dhanna Jat Gurdwara here. On this occasion, Sarabjit Sharma and Master Gurcharan Singh from Bharatiya Kisan Union Ekta Ugraha, Balvir Singh Jalur, Satwant Singh Khandewad, Balwinder Singh Ghodenab and Lachhman Singh Ali from United Kisan Morche were present. In the meeting, it was decided that this tractor march should be done jointly in coordination with all the farmers, labor and employee organizations of the area. Meanwhile, the leaders invited the farmers to join the march. He said that agriculture is a common issue of all. The leaders said that the organizations should be supported to save the farmers.
