Punjab News – Kangana Ranaut Movie ‘Emergency’: BJP MP and film actress Kangana Ranaut’s movie ‘Emergency’ (‘Emergency’) faced outrage and anger from the Sikh world when it was released in Punjab. may fall Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami today sent a letter to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann in this regard and demanded a ban on this film in the state.

He clearly said that if the film is released in Punjab, the Shiromani Committee will strongly oppose it. This film is releasing tomorrow on January 17.

In the letter sent to the Chief Minister in this regard, the president of the Shiromani Committee said that he has come to know that the film ‘Emergency’ produced by Kangana Ranaut is going to be screened in the theaters of different cities of Punjab tomorrow on January 17 and this The related tickets have also started to be booked. The Shiromani Committee expressed its protest regarding this film and filed an objection to the Chief Secretary of Punjab on 14 November 2024.

A resolution passed by the Interning Committee was also sent in this regard. It has been alleged in this resolution that this film has been made in a political manner with the intention of defaming Sikhs. So this film will not be allowed to run in Punjab. He said that it was demanded to ban this film through the resolution.

He said that it is a matter of regret that the AAP government of Punjab has not taken any step in this matter so far. He said that if this film is released on January 17, it will cause outrage in the Sikh world.

He said that in this film, along with the military attack on Sri Harmandir Sahib, Sri Akal Takht during Saka Nila Tara, as well as in the case of Sikh massacre and genocide, it has been worked with the spirit of spewing poison against Sikhs. He said that Saint Jarnail Singh Khalsa Bhindran Wala has also been ‘characterized’ in the film.

They have demanded from the Chief Minister that this film should be immediately stopped from being released on January 17 in Punjab. If the film is released in Punjab, it will be forced to protest strongly at the state level. Apart from the Chief Minister’s Office, the SGPC has also sent letters to the Punjab Chief Secretary, DGP and District Deputy Commissioners and others.

In this regard, a letter has also been submitted to the Deputy Commissioner of Amritsar by the officials of the Shiromani Committee under the leadership of Shiromani Committee Secretary Pratap Singh.
