Shubhanshu Shukla, officer of the Indian Air Force (IAF), has been selected for NASA’s Excium Mission 4. Soon they will go to the International Space Station with the Space X Dragon SpaceCraft.
Shubhanshu will be the first Indian to visit ISS. This mission will last for 14 days. Research will be done under this. Shubhanshu is taking training for ISRO’s mission Gaganyaan.
The command of the mission will be handled by Paigi Whitson. Shubhanshu will be a pilot. Mission Specialists Slavose Slavose Ujnanski-Vishanvski and Tibor Kapu will go to the Excium Mission-4 between April and June 2025.
Shubhanshu was born on 10 October 1985 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
Apart from India in the mission, Astronauts of Poland-Hungary also Commander Paigi Whitson- Pagi has served as the commander of the AX-2 mission. Pagi has worked for 675 days in a NASA mission. He is the most experienced astronaut of America.
Pilot Shubhanshu is a pilot in the Indian Air Force. He has been selected for ISRO’s Gaganyaan Mission. This is India’s first mand mission in space.
Mission Specialist Slavose Uznansi-Vizniavski- Slavose of Poland has been an engineer of Cern. Slavos is a member of the European Space Agency’s Astronaut Reserve Class of 2022.
Mission Specialist Tibor Kapu- Kapu is a mechanical engineer from Hungary, who mastered Space Radiation Protection. In 2023, he was elected to Hunor (Hungarian-to-Orbit).
Shubhanshu Shukla is 38 years old. He is a fighter pilot and combat leader.

AXM-4 will research 14 days ISS The first private astronaut mission of ISS was launched on 1 April 2022, which lasted 17 days in the Orbiting Lab. The second exgium mission was sent in 2, May 2023. This mission spent eight days on ISS. The exgium mission was launched in 3, January 2024. It spent 18 days at the station. 14 days have been fixed for the Excium Mission 4.
