The India Alliance on Friday took out a protest march from Vijay Chowk to Parliament demanding an apology and resignation from Union Home Minister Amit Shah over his comments about Dr BR Ambedkar.
The opposition alliance also condemned the FIR filed against Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, saying it was a ploy by the BJP to divert attention from Shah’s comments. Talking to IANS, Congress General Secretary K.C. Venugopal said that the main issue is Dr. Amit Shah. Apologize for your unacceptable comment on Ambedkar. BJP is trying to divert attention by registering an FIR against Rahul Gandhi. IANS
