The recent times have not been good for Indian opener Prithvi Shaw. He is facing many critics. Some are questioning his fitness and some are questioning his behaviour. After being out of Team India, he is constantly trying to come back but so far he has not been able to succeed in this.
Shaw was part of the Mumbai squad in the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy but was not selected due to a poor performance in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. About which they have already expressed their displeasure on social media. An official of the Mumbai Cricket Association has given a statement on Shaw on not being selected in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, to which Prithvi Shaw has once again reacted on social media.
Posting the story on Instagram late Friday night, Prithvi Shaw wrote, “If you don’t fully know about it, don’t talk about it.” “Many people make assumptions with half-assed facts.”
Before this let us tell you that the MCA official said on the condition of anonymity that we were playing with 10 fielders in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy as we were forced to hide Prithvi Shaw. The ball went past him and he barely managed to catch it. Even while batting we could see that he could not reach the ball.
His fitness, discipline and attitude are poor. It is very simple that there cannot be different rules for different players. Even the senior players of the team have now started complaining about his attitude.
