Jalandhar, September 22, 2023: The Deputy Commissioner of Jalandhar, Special Sarangal, has announced a holiday on September 28, 2023, in view of the Sodhal Mela. This holiday will apply to all educational institutions, government offices, and corporation boards in the district.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the decision to declare a holiday was taken in view of the devotion and faith of the people in Sodhal Mela. He also said that the holiday will provide people with an opportunity to participate in the mela and celebrate the occasion with their loved ones.
