News Patiala:- The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has recently announced a recruitment drive to fill up 3049 posts of Probationary Officer (PO) and Special Officer (SO) in banks. The last date to apply for the posts is 21st August.
Job Description and Remuneration
Probationary Officers (POs) are employed in public sector banks to perform various responsibilities, including handling customer complaints, resolving customer-related issues, managing cash flow, and processing loans and mortgages. They are also responsible for supervising the staff under the clerical cadre.
The initial in-hand pay package for POs is Rs. 52,000 to Rs. 55,000, inclusive of allowances, HRA, and other perquisites.
Educational Qualification and Age Limit
To be eligible for the PO/SO posts, candidates must have a graduate degree from a recognized university. The age limit for the posts is 20 to 30 years.
