A woman who supplied drugs and cash in Britain was jailed for four years
News Patiala: A 41-year-old woman of Indian origin from London has been sentenced. To more than four years in prison for working as a cash and drug courier for a Buckinghamshire-based organized crime group.
Mandeep Kaur, of Pocklington Close, London, was arrested in June 2020. She was arrested with £50,000 in cash following an investigation by the South East Regional Organized Crime Unit (SEROCU). After a two-week trial at Aylesbury Crown Court last week, a jury found him guilty of conspiracy to supply the class-A drug.
He said that Mandeep himself had sold one kilo of cocaine to get financial benefits. He has been sentenced to four years and eight months in prison for his involvement in drug supply conspiracy.
