Central Jail Patiala recovered 19 mobile phones

Hidden on the roof and floor of the barracks.

• Sidhu-Daler-Majithia are also locked in the same jail

                 19 mobile phones have been recovered from Patiala Central Jail. These mobiles were hidden by making gaps on the floor and wall in the prison barracks.

 Jail officials conducted a special checking for 3 hours on Sunday morning, in which this recovery has taken place. Jail Superintendent Manjit Singh Tiwana said that the special thing is that all the mobile phones have keypads.

 Now an investigation has been started on who was using these mobiles. Where and with whom the conversation was held. Confirming this, Jail Minister Harjot Bains tweeted that checking is being done to make the jails drug-free.

Let us tell you that Punjab Congress leader and former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu, Akali leader Bikram Singh Majithia and Punjabi singer Daler Mehndi are also locked in this jail.
Sidhu is serving a one-year sentence in the road rage case. Along with this, Daler has been imprisoned for 3 years in the case of human trafficking.
