Patiala News: Punjab Assembly Election 2022
All the Returning Officers today conducted a rehearsal for the polling parties in the presence of General Observers. Its main aim is to conduct Punjab assembly polls on February 20 at 1784 polling booths in 8 assembly constituencies of the district.

Provided complete information and training as per instructions of the Election Commission of India. The Presiding Officers were apprised of the information to be provided to the Sector Officers including reporting every two hours on the day of polling.
DC Sandeep Hans said that the polling staff would also follow the rules of Kovid to avoid the Covid epidemic during polling. Returning officials said that the polling staff has been instructed to conduct the voting process smoothly with full responsibility and impartiality.
Besides, employees who had just received the first dose of the vaccine. They were given a second dose as well as a booster dose to the staff who had received the second dose. Employees with covid symptoms also underwent a covid test on the spot.
