Mohammad Tayyab I.A.S Special Secretary, Department of Finance Government of Punjab was the Guest. He said that creating mindfulness amongst consumers about the advantages of eating healthy and thus the wisdom behind safe foods would beget optimum application of coffers also as civilization and product of advanced quality food products. 

India has the most important number of organic food directors and is ranked the ninth-largest in terms of the land devoted to organic husbandry, still, organic foodstuff in India is growing because the mindfulness about organic foods remains low and is confined to consumers in metro metropolises, he added. Dr.NeelimaJerath, Director General Science City giving introductory reflections at the occasion said that Food, Health, and Nutrition are an important part of life.

 Further, making healthy food choices, eating nutritive food and savoring the range of food which our country has got to offer, must be inculcated within the society. the advantages of traditional grains and crops, the discharge of sweet composites while cooking, and thus the retention of vitamins and minerals in raw and cooked food also because the wisdom behind healthy food habits also must be effectively communicated amongst the millions, she added. Mr. Ranbir Singh, head, Punjab Agri Export Corporation Limited (PAGREXO), and Chief military officer, Punjab Agro Juices Limited was also present at this occasion. He informed that PAGREXCO has created a base of growers with a neighborhood of acres under organic instrument governance where organic food is grown in compliance with the Organic norms of National and International norms.

 Speaking at the occasion, Dr. Madhu Gill, Adviser Organic, Punjab Agro said that the organic program is being enforced in Punjab by furnishing institutional support to the growers meaning to shift to Organic tilling ranging from product, value addition, and marketing. She further informed that the growers are given Training, Guidance, and Technical Support for Organic practices by the trained platoon of Field staff for Certification governance. Dr. Rajesh Grover, Director Science City delivering a vote of thanks at the occasion said that the show aimed at furnishing a platform for all inspiring cookers who wish to sculpt a distinct member for themselves in getting a food expert indeed without carrying any formal training.

 The show also marked the association of competitions on Nutritious Street Food and organic Food Bazar for council kiddies of Hotel Management/ home Science and Housewives with the aphorism to vary the perception about road food. Cook Vishavdeep Bali and Chef NelluKaura were the judges of the competition. The winners were awarded cash prizes. results of the Food Show during a pupil s order first prize has been achieved. Bhavik Agrawal from CT university, Arshdeep, and Akshita from KM Jalandhar settled the alternate prize and Akanksha and Shivam from IKG PTU entered third prize. during a House woman/ Other Category Aruna, Varun and Savita entered first, alternate and third prize. Ms. Harsimran Kaur from Hindu Kanya College Kapurthala and Amitoj Bedi from Rayat and Bahra Group of Institutions was the winner of online Art and Science Compactions also awarded on this occasion.
