Indian Navy Agniveer 2026 : Indian Navy has announced recruitment for Agniveer (SSR) posts for 10th and 12th passed candidates. This time, the Navy has added a new category called SSR Medical. The online application process for this recruitment will start from 14th March.
Indian Navy Agniveer Bharti 2026 : This is a great opportunity for the youth to become a part of the proud fleet of the Indian Navy. Navy has announced Agniveer Recruitment 2027 Batch. This recruitment process will fill the posts of Agniveer SSR (Senior Secondary Recruit) and MR (Matric Recruit). To join the Navy, the youth must clear the Indian Navy Entrance Test (INCET) 2026. Online applications for this recruitment are available through the Navy website, joinindiannavy.gov.in. The application process will start from March 14.
Agniveer SSR – Candidates must have passed 12th standard. Candidates should have passed 12th standard in one of Chemistry, Biology, or Computer Science along with Mathematics and Physics.
Agniveer MR – The minimum qualification for this post is 10th standard. Appointments will be made for the posts like Chef, Steward and Hygienist.
Agnivir SSR (Medical) – This is a special category, introduced for the first time. Candidates should have passed 12th standard and should have medical qualification.
The age limit for this Navy Agniveer Recruitment is different for each post. Only unmarried men and women can apply. In addition, the requirement of celibacy during service must be met.
The Navy Agniveer recruitment process will be completed in two phases:
First Stage (INET) – This will be a computer-based test. Successful candidates will be shortlisted and called for the next stage.
Second Stage (PFT & Medical) – Candidates shortlisted in the first stage will undergo Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Test. Physical efficiency test includes tests like running, sit-ups and push-ups. Candidates who clear all these stages will be selected in the final merit list, based on which they will be called for training. On completion of training, the selected candidates will be eligible to serve in the Indian Navy as Agniveer and will be posted in various technical and non-technical departments of the Navy.
